Last weekend, I read The Top 10 Distinctions Between Millionaires and the Middle Class by Keith Cameron Smith. I would highly recommend this small book. Some of the key distinctions include:
- Millionaires think long-term (1,5 & 10 years) which develops perseverance; the middle class thinks short-term (month to month) and tend to quit when things don't work out
- Millionaires take risks, the middle class is afraid to take risks
- Millionaires work for profits, the middle class works for wages (this was one of the biggest contrasts that stood out to me)
- Millionaires have multiple sources of income; the middle class has only one or two (ironically, in encouraging the reader to develop multiple sources of income, the first possibility he mentions is direct sales/network marketing)
